Internship Opportunities

NaturChem - Opterra Solutions is excited about the future. We are a growing company and are seeking motivated students looking for new opportunities for their careers. As a leader in the Vegetation Management industry, we work with municipal and commercial customers to provide services that help them mitigate hazards, remain compliant, and operate more cost-effectively. We take pride in what we do. We solve problems for our partners and have a great time doing it!

Intern With Us

Our internship is a great way to learn how you can use your education in a service-focused industry. We are not landscapers, but we do environmental work outdoors in various customer locations. Our work is contract- or project-based and has a lot of moving parts including sales, operation, administration, and accounting. Interns work alongside our field technicians and various managers in the field, the office, and out of town.
  • You'll get to use a variety of hand tools and mechanized equipment to perform services in the field.
  • You'll get to learn the sales process and how customers are obtained, and jobs are quoted, as well as retained.
  • You'll witness leadership in action as managers handle operations, scheduling of people and equipment, profit/loss analysis, and more.

In this role, you will learn about our industry, our services, and our processes.

"My internship was a great way to decide if I wanted to work in an office environment or be more hands-on in the field. I was able to learn how to operate equipment, perform mixes, and how a business runs multiple projects."

  • Ability to work outdoors in various conditions with routine lifting of 50lbs
