Our Team

Rom Kellis III has been the owner and President of NaturChem since 1987. Born in Elyria, Ohio and raised in Candor, North Carolina. He is a 1976 North Carolina State Horticulture Graduate. Rom is married with seven children and nine grandchildren. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is "building people with opportunities."

Rom D. Kellis IV is the Senior Vice President and has been with NaturChem for twenty plus years. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is "the family." Rom was raised in Lexington, South Carolina and has a beautiful wife and three beautiful children: Rom V, Ryder and Sophia.

Johnny T. Staples is the Senior Vice President and has been with NaturChem since 2002. He was born in Marion, South Carolina and raised on a family farm in Aynor, South Carolina. Johnny attended Clemson University where he earned his Bachelors and Masters and then went on to Auburn University for his Ph.D. He is married to Natasha and they have two children, Mary Elaine and John Michael. Johnny’s favorite part of working for NaturChem is "the support of the NaturChem family and helping folks grow beyond their internal limits."

Wayne Kellis is the Executive Director and has been with NaturChem since 1994. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is "the quality of the people." Wayne was born in Newport News, Virginia and raised in North Carolina. He was married in 1977 and has four grown children and nine grand-children.

Lance Daniel is the Atlantic Region Vice President and has been with NaturChem since 2004. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is “the Excitement of working with fellow Brothers and Sisters.” Lance was born in Starkville, Mississippi and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when he was a child. He finished grade school there and moved to Arkansas where he went to College. Lance has been married for fourteen years to his lovely wife Kelli and they have two children, Trevor and Landrey. The joys of his life are God, Family and Work.

Mark Davis is the Central Region Vice President and has been with NaturChem for 12 years. Born in Greenville NC and raised in Sanford NC, he is married to Donna and they have 2 boys: Hunter & Jordan. Mark’s hobies are; Family, Hunting, Fishing & Coaching Baseball.

John MacLaren has been with NaturChem for 14 years and is the Vice President of the Gulf Coast Region. He was born and raised in Lake City, FL. He is married to Jessica and they have 2 children: Warren & Macie. His favorite part of NaturChem is the wonderful men and women he gets to work with.

Jackie Hipes has been with NaturChem since 1998 and is the Controller, Secretary and Treasurer. Jackie is a 1983 graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting and Business Administration. After graduation, Jackie worked for First Citizens Bank in Charlotte, NC and then moved to Long Island, New York to work for Chase Manhattan Bank in branch management. After nine years in New York, Jackie moved back to her home state of South Carolina and is glad to be back. Her favorite part of working for NaturChem is “the sense of family among co-workers and the steady growth of the company that has brought about constant change. She thrives on change and the implementation of it!”

Benji Hook is the General Manager of the Lexington Service Department and has been with NaturChem since 1991. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is "knowing that God is accepted in our company, seeing his co-workers weekly, and the feeling that we constantly improve on whatever we do." Benji was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. He married Kim, his wife, in 1992 and they have a son, Tate, and a daughter, Caleigh.

Shane Bray is the General Manager of the Greenville Service Department which also includes our Farmville VA & Sanford NC locations. He has been with NaturChem for 5 years and enjoys the family atmosphere and the fellowship with his peers and customers. Raised in Athens, Georgia; Shane is married to Jennifer and they have two beautiful daughters: Eryka & Rebecca.

Garrett Burnett is the General Manager of the Lake City Service Department and has been with NaturChem since 2003. Born and raised in Gainesville Florida, he and his wife Kirsten have 3 children: Trevor, McKenzie and Zachary. He loves the innovation and creative thinking of his peers.... they way they just seem to get things done no matter what the obstacles.

Dennis Sparks has been with NaturChem since January 2010 is the General Manager of the Ft. Meade Service Department. He was born in Baltimore MD and raised in Tampa FL. He is married to Mary Beth and they have 4 children: Kari, Tyler, Kaylee & Trevin. His favorite aspect of working is that NaturChem invests time and resources in our people in order to not just provide our customers with Superior Service and Quality but to positively impact their families and communities.

Nick Hook has been with NaturChem 5yrs and is the General Manager of ECO Group. He is married with one daughter and was raised in Lexington SC. Nick graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Agricultural Mechanization and Business. Previously, served as NPDES coordinator with CR Jackson Inc. In Columbia, SC. When he’s not working, you can find him spending time with his family and friends or enjoying the great outdoors. Nick’s favorite part of working at NaturChem is the awesome team of co-workers and working within the versatility of a company in a fast paced environment.

Lee Glasgow is the General Manager of the Gonzales Service Department and has been with NaturChem for 7years. Born & raised in Columbiana, AL, he loves the outdoors, travel and spending time with family and friends. His favorite part of NaturChem is being able to help customers solve their vegetation problems and being a part of the NaturChem team.

Mike Norton has been with NaturChem for 4 years and is the General Manager of the Conyers Service Department. He is married to Sarah and they have 2 children, Treavor and Elizabeth. Mike’s favorite part of NaturChem is the people that he works with, the challenges the profession brings, and learning new things every day. He was born in Conyers and raised in Covington GA.

Daniel Bolton is the General Manager of the Nashville Service Department & our Rail Department and has been with NaturChem for 10years. Born and raised in Cheatham County Tennessee, Daniel is married with 1 boy and a baby on the way.

Darryl Duncan has been with NaturChem for over 7 years and is the General Manager of the Calera Service Department. He was born & raised in Waverly, TN and is married with one daughter. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is “the people.”

Kim L. Hook, HR & Payroll Director, has been with NaturChem since August of 2010. Her favorite part of working for NaturChem is "Knowing that our Lord is recognized in every part of our organization and this company feels like just a bigger part of my own family". Kim was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. She married Benji, her husband, in 1992 and they have a son, Tate, and a daughter, Caleigh.

Dana DuBose has been with NaturChem since 2006 and is the Compliance officer. She has lived in Lexington, South Carolina for the majority of her life. Dana has three beautiful daughters; Darby, Bryson and Alston. Her favorite part of working for NaturChem is “the people and my ability to learn and grow with the company.”

Bryan R. Hook is the Safety/Loss Control Officer and has been with NaturChem since 1997. His favorite part of working for NaturChem is "the people I work with every day... they are real and willingly to help each other." Bryan was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina and is one of six children. He has been married to his wife Bonnie for thirty-eight years and they have two children and four grandchildren that are a blessing to them. Bryan counts his "Blessings" every day for his religion, family and work... "it really can’t get any better than this."
